Kings County · Brooklyn

King of Kings.

It's not a flex — Kings County is literally the name. It just happens to also be biblical.

Brooklyn is James's home borough. The 306 Atlantic Avenue office is the throne room. 1,500+ five-star reviews live here. If you got a ticket within the borough, this is the closest thing to a hometown advantage you can hire.

Brooklyn's rap sheet.

Where Brooklyn drivers get caught — and what those tickets actually do to your record and your insurance.

BQE speeding

3 pts + ~$200 fine

The stretch through Williamsburg + Brooklyn Heights runs 50mph in places that feel like 70. Radar pockets are predictable; the citation isn't.

Belt Parkway radar

3–6 pts depending on speed over

Belt is one of the most ticketed parkways in NY. Bay Ridge → JFK corridor. Heavy weekend enforcement.

Eastern Pkwy disobey signal

2 pts + ~$150 fine

Eastern Pkwy crosses Crown Heights and Prospect Heights with short-running lights. Easy to misjudge a yellow.

Atlantic Ave bus lane (camera)

0 pts but $50–$250 (owner-liability)

Camera-enforced. No points but compounds fast on rideshare and fleet vehicles. Often beatable on signage-clarity grounds.

School-zone speed cameras

0 pts $50 each, owner-liability

4th, 5th, and 7th Ave run 20 mph during school-zone hours. Cameras don't blink. Adds up fast for delivery and rideshare drivers.

Cell phone / portable device

5 pts + ~$200 fine

Heavy enforcement in BedStuy, Crown Heights, and along the BQE. Phone-in-hand at a stoplight still counts.

Where I show up.

Brooklyn TVB and the courts I cover most.

Brooklyn Traffic Violations Bureau

1717 Bedford Avenue
Brooklyn, NY 11225
Crown Heights / Prospect Heights edge

Most Brooklyn moving violations are heard here. James appears in person — you don't have to be there.

My office

306 Atlantic Avenue
Brooklyn, NY 11201
